🛒 NFT Marketplace
Beta Version, Our First Step
On Dec 7, 2021, we launched the beta version of our NFT Marketplace successfully. The performance of the platform has far exceeded our expectations — where smooth trading process and delivery of NFTs were properly managed. Since then, we received overwhelming feedback from community members. We have listened to the community and immediately started working on a much-improved version of the marketplace. Here is a sneak peek of what you can expect.
A Fully Supported Marketplace to Launch with UX Revamp
The new marketplace is now under development. We have come to realize that the current user experience is not perfectly optimal. Thus, our creative team is revamping the UI design of the entire site. The focus will be heavily on NFT itself. We strive to implement improvements to make NFTs shine on the PolkaFantasy marketplace. And our explore function would make it much easier for you to discover valuable NFTs every step of the way.
Auction Your Precious NFTs
We are excited to announce that a highly requested feature is work in progress — Auction.
After the auction feature is launched, you can put your NFTs on sale via auction. You can set the reserve price (a minimum price that a seller would be willing to accept from a buyer) and auction period. Buyers can place bids on your NFTs, and at the end of auction, the highest bid wins the auction. We have no doubt that the auction feature will be much welcomed by the community as it offers more flexibility on how you want to manage your NFT sales. Auction feature is expected to arrive in early Q2 this year.
Ownable Smart Contract Level NFT Collection
One exciting feature that we are implementing is Smart Contract Level NFT Collection.
Grouping NFTs into a single collection would definitely increase traction for your NFTs. In some marketplaces, collections are on their own platforms only where you do not truly own the collection on the blockchain level. However, in PolkaFantasy, you can create ownable collections with distinctive smart contracts deployed on blockchain. To simply put, you own your collections. We firmly believe this will be a very handy feature as we continue to expand our NFT ecosystem.
Revision of ERC-1155 Implementation
Flexibility is the core of user experience. When we designed our ERC-1155 standard on the PolkaFantasy NFT marketplace, we planned to add an additional feature to the NFTs. Traditionally, trading NFT with ERC-1155 does not allow users to choose which copy of NFT is traded — meaning you cannot buy a particular copy of NFT that was owned by someone special.
We did something different. What we did is to allow trading particular copies of NFT under the same tokenID. In other words, you can choose which copy to buy and sell. This is a feature that would benefit you tremendously. Nevertheless, our team has spotted that such implementation is not compatible with 1155 NFTs from external platforms, so that such NFTs are not tradeable on the PolkaFantasy marketplace. Therefore, we had to make a decision to revert the change and make our marketplace compatible with external NFTs.
The revision of ERC-1155 requires our team to revise and redeploy some smart contracts. Our team needs to migrate previous NFT data to the new implementation. This has caused some delay in our marketplace revamp and BSC/Polygon integration. Our team is working diligently on delivering the new smart contract in the most secure way. We expect it to be a 1.5 month delay for some new feature releases.
🔗 Multichain Integration & BSC/Polygon Bridges
The $XP BSC/Polygon bridge function testing is in good progress. Our expert team is finalizing the one last testing on the $XP BSC/Polygon bridge before official launch. In the previous reporting by renowned audit firm Hacken, several non-critical issues were found. We imminently fixed the issues and submitted the fix for remediation check. The final report indicated that our web application security level stands out to be highly secure. While the final check is in progress, we expect the BSC/Polygon Bridge will officially debut on Jan 28.
The bridge completion would bring forth more advantages to you, namely gas fees and as an alternative to transact on the reputable BSC & Polygon network. The multi-chain integration would enable you to convert tokens on the three distinctive networks of Ethereum, BSC and Polygon. We are elated to announce our official launch on PancakeSwap and QuickSwamp soon!

👛 NFT Wallet
Beta Version Development & Testing
PolkaFantasy has laid out the basic functions for the NFT Wallet. The team is currently working around the clock on version 2.0, which will provide more significant updates on user interface, wallet functionalities and NFTs display in a more attractive manner. After the release of the beta version, users will be able to create, import, and watch wallets, scan QR codes, copy & paste contracts and addresses, all with relative ease. With biometric tech integration, you can also sign in using either your Face ID or fingerprint safely.
Watch Wallet Function Available on ETH & Polygon Networks
Due to the lack of NFT wallets being optimized for the Polygon network, our team has developed a wallet that can display NFTs on both Ethereum & Polygon with Binance Smart Chain (BSC) scheduled for version 2.0.
You will be able to import ERC-20 tokens by scanning a QR code or manually inserting the token’s contract address. On our NFT wallet, ETH, USDT, and XP are set as default for the native Ethereum network. When switching over to the Polygon network, MATIC and USDT tokens are set as default on your token list. XP will be added to Polygon’s default list in version 2.0 once the bridge is completed.
We have created a panoramic NFT gallery on your wallet which properly displays your NFTs on ERC 1155 & ERC 721. PNG and GIF formats are also available on display. As we are looking to perfect our product, our tech team is currently working to make MP4 and MP3 files adaptable. Furthermore, users will be able to connect their wallet to OpenSea and explore NFTs.
⛰️ Fantasy Land Development & System
PolkaFantasy completed its land events back in November last year. Upon the completion of events, the team has dedicated even more resources to build out a never-before-seen land system, where your land assets can be swapped in-between PolkaFantasy’s blockchain games eventually. The “one-apply-all” principle is the core of the development. Here is a sneak peek of the world map.
Our dev team is now undergoing several testings on functionalities. On the actual land claim site, you would be able to view owned lands and details. Once the optimization is completed, the site will be officially launched, scheduled by the end of Jan, 2022.
In future, we will add more features and utilities for our land on this site.
Closing thoughts
2021 has been incredibly exciting to us, as we have phased out part of the roadmap, and resolved hurdles with brilliant tech solutions from our teams.
This new year has brought us abundant opportunities to continue our hard work on the PolkaFantasy GameFi ecosystem, including the NFT marketplace, NFT wallet and our first blockchain game. While we are working day and night to build the best products and test them thoroughly before official release, the scale of the ecosystem is bigger than we expect if we would like to maintain a high quality for all product lines. This requires much greater effort and time than we could imagine. We sincerely apologize for the occasional delays. In the meantime, we have polished the roadmap to better reflect the current progress. With that being said, we are continuously expanding the team, and we strive to deliver the best products that will make you proud as part of the PolkaFantasy family.
