How to obtain $XP on QuickSwap & MATIC on Polygon Network
When swapping tokens on Polygon, you will need MATIC for gas fees, regardless of which token you want to swap for XP. If you need any assistance, you can scroll down to the last section of this article for a detailed tutorial on “How to Buy $MATIC on Binance”.
- Go to quickswap.exchange in your desktop or mobile browser.
- Connect your wallet i.e. Metamask
- Make sure you’re on the [Swap] tab to start exchanging tokens.
4. Select the token you’d like to swap from and the token you’d like to receive. In this case, we’re swapping MATIC for XP.
You can copy the contract address for Polygon XP on our homepage: https://polkafantasy.com/
Paste the Polygon contract address and select XP when it shows in the list.
It is always good practice to paste the contract address instead of search for ‘XP’, as it is easy for scammers to create a token with the same name.
5. Select the amount you want to swap
You can either input the amount you want to swap or the amount you want to receive. Click [Swap].
You can either enter the amount you want to swap to XP or the enter amount of XP you want to receive
6. Confirm Swap
Review the details and click [Confirm Swap].
7. Confirm the transaction in your wallet
Click on your wallet extension, review the details and [Confirm] the transaction.
8. Transaction complete!
Once the transaction is confirmed you will be able to see the swap transaction on the block explorer. Your wallet balance will be updated.
How to understand your transaction
On the block explorer, we can see we swapped 1.49 MATIC for 5 XP (via USDC, another crypto token).
Transaction fee (gas fee) paid was ~ $0.01 worth of MATIC.
How to buy MATIC on Binance
Matic is required for gas fees for all transactions on the Polygon network. MATIC can also be used to convert tokens i.e. MATIC to $XP. For details on how to swap MATIC for $XP on QuickSwap, read above section.
You can use other crypto exchanges that support the Polygon network e.g. Coinbase, Kraken, but we will show you how to do it on Binance.

Identity Verification
To buy crypto on Binance, you will need to undergo Identity verification (KYC), which requires input of personal information such as name, address, proof of identification i.e. passport, ID card etc.
Verification is done manually by the Binance team. It may take a few days or longer depending on their workload.
2. Buy MATIC with fiat currency
Purchase crypto using a credit card or P2P methods. Select how much crypto (MATIC) you want to buy with fiat currency (e.g. GBP, USD, JPY)

Once you have purchased MATIC, you will need to withdraw it from Binance to send to your crypto wallet.
3. These are the required input fields, when withdrawing MATIC on Polygon:
Select : Crypto
Select Coin : MATIC
Address : the crypto wallet address you are sending to i.e. MetaMask, TrustWallet
Network : Polygon (network fee and approx arrival time mentioned here)
Amount : the amount you wish to send (minimum 10 MATIC)

- Click withdraw
- Select Crypto, select MATIC
- Enter wallet address, amount
- Select Polygon network 5. Confirm transaction
After confirming, your transaction will be submitted. Bear in mind it may take time for your funds to reach your wallet. The estimated time of withdrawal from the above screenshot is 60 minutes.
If this is your first time withdrawing tokens, we recommend you try with a small amount to ensure the transaction is successful, before sending the rest.
If you input the wrong information or select the wrong network when making a transfer, your assets will be permanently lost.
