How to Buy $XP token on Uniswap V2
Hello PolkaFantasy Community!
We’re very excited to announce that our $XP token will be live on Uniswap V2 on 10 September 2021 (9AM UTC). If you’re unfamiliar with this decentralized exchange, not worry! We have provided you with simple step-by-step instructions on how to safely purchase our token.
Purchasing $XP on Uniswap V2
To purchase $XP you must first go to https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap?use=V2
Upon launching the app, you will see the exchange platform with the option to enter the token pairs you would like to swap. But before you can get your hands on some $XP, you will need to connect your wallet, which can be done by clicking the “Connect to a wallet” button in the top right-hand corner.
Now you’ll have the opportunity to connect your DeFi wallet. Remember that Uniswap is only compatible with MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase, Fortmatic, and Portis. Ensure your wallet network is set to the Ethereum Network.
After your wallet has been connected, the next step is to enter the currency pairs you wish to swap. We are going to launch on Uniswap V2, therefore make sure that you are trading on the right protocol (https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap?use=V2). Select USDT or ETH as the currency on the top of the swap, as this will be the purchasing currency. For the bottom of the swap, paste the $XP contract address (you can find it at https://polkafantasy.com/) and add it to the swap.
DON’T just search with the token name ‘XP’ to prevent scams. And if you find that the liquidity is too low, check again if you are trading on Uniswap V2. We have not put out any official pools on V3, therefore make sure you double check.
Once both tokens have been entered, select the amount of $XP you’d like to purchase in USDT or ETH, check your slippage by clicking the settings icon. Once comfortable with slippage, click swap- and that’s it! All that is left is to confirm the gas fees and before you know it, you’ll be a $XP holder.
