(New Update: Feb 23) Fantasy Box Tutorial
Hello again, Heroes! We are thrilled to see your active participation in our current whitelist campaign. To ensure the smoothness of your magical hunt for a Fantasy Box, we have prepared a tutorial on how to make purchases in our upcoming Fantasy Box Sale. This step-by-step guide will start you on a momentous journey with PolkaFantasy!
Please note that both of our Fantasy Box (Legend & Public) events only accept $XP on Polygon. You may find our bridge tutorial to swap your XP on Ethereum or BSC to Polygon network here. Alternatively, you can purchase $XP on Polygon directly from Quickswap. The Polygon $XP contract address can be found at the top of the https://polkafantasy.com/.

Drop Rates
You can view the drop rates and description of each tier by first clicking the box of choice and then scrolling down to ‘Information’
Applicable discounts will automatically be applied to the total. Whitelist maximum tier quotas apply i.e. 1 Legendary box with 50% discount shown above*
In this example, selecting Legendary Tier will only show Legendary characters as the drop rate is 100%. This tier is only available during the Fantasy Box Legend event.
(Updated on 23rd Feb) How to purchase Fantasy boxes
- Switch Network
The website will prompt you to switch to the Polygon network if your wallet is on a different network. Click ‘Switch Network’ and confirm the switch on your wallet extension
2. Swap some $XP or Continue
If you need to swap $XP, click ‘Convert XP’ otherwise click ‘Continue’
3. Connect your wallet
Press ‘Connect Wallet’ using a wallet that holds $XP on Polygon and confirm the transaction in your wallet extension. Our platform supports Metamask and WalletConnect.
WalletConnect users can scan the QR code from a compatible mobile app i.e. TrustWallet, Safepal
4. Approve Token
If this is your first time using the site you need to grant permission for the site to access your $XP. Click ‘Confirm’ in your wallet extension. You will only need to do this once.
*You are required to pay a small amount of gas fee for the transaction, so make sure you have enough MATIC.
5. Select the Fantasy Box you wish to purchase
Click the tier of rarity and enter the number of boxes you wish to purchase. You can purchase a maximum of 10 boxes per transaction for all tiers apart from Legendary, which is a maximum of 1 per transaction, but you can make as many transactions as you want, subject to supply.
Once you have checked the tier, ‘Quantity’ and ‘Total Amount’, confirm your purchase by clicking ‘Buy’. Any discounts, if applicable, will automatically be applied to the total.
Example above shows a non-whitelisted participant purchasing 10 Pioneer boxes, with 10X discount* applied.
Once you click ‘Buy’, a popup will appear to request confirmation that you are not a robot. Tick the checkbox to continue and then confirm the purchase in your wallet extension. Ensure you have sufficient $XP and MATIC for the transaction and gas fee!
To ensure fairness of the sale and to avoid bot involvement, reCAPTCHA authentication is required for purchasing the Fantasy Boxes.
Please ensure you have no pending transactions in your wallet before making another purchase! If a transaction is still pending, you may need to pay gas to speed up the transaction — instructions below.
10X Pioneer Discount
If you wish to avail the 10x discount, edit ‘Quantity’ to 10 pieces and the 10% discount will automatically apply to the Total Amount. Note the 10x discount only applies to the Pioneer Box.
If you are a whitelist participant, the 50% discount will apply to the first 10x pioneer purchase, in addition to the 10% discount. Subsequent 10x purchases will receive only the 10% discount.
6. Fantasy Box Draw
After clicking ‘Buy’, your Fantasy Box item delivery will be in process. Due to the nature of the Polygon network, it may take approximately 5–10 minutes (i.e.after 128 block confirmations) for the cards to be confirmed and shown under your Draw Records. You can go Back to the homepage and purchase more boxes in the meantime.
7. View your NFT Collection
See all the draws from the fantasy box event by clicking ‘Check your Draw Records’ on the homepage or after making a purchase.
‘Processing’ NFTs will be revealed in under Draw Records in approx 5–10 minutes
*Note:
- Common weapons, rare characters will be obtained as NFT exchange vouchers, which can be exchanged for revamped versions. (Vouchers can also be traded on marketplaces such as Opensea).
- Legendary tier is only available during the ‘Fantasy Box (Legend) Event’.
- Discounts, if applicable, will automatically be applied to the total.
- NFTs may take approximately 5–10 minutes to appear in Draw Records.
- Ensure no pending transactions are in your wallet before attempting another purchase. Pending transactions may need to be sped up by paying more gas in the wallet extension.
- There is no limit to the number of boxes that can be purchased at original price.

Whitelist Discount:
Whitelisted addresses can purchase the following with 50% discount:
- Pioneer x 10, Adventure x 5, Champion x3, Legendary x 1 .
- Any purchases after exceeding the quota will be at original price.
10X :
- Single transaction purchases of 10 Pioneer boxes will automatically receive 10% discount, on top of any applicable discounts.
- This discount will apply to all 10x purchases of Pioneer tier only.
How to Speed Up your Transaction/Edit Gas Fee
If your transaction is taking time you can increase your gas fee through your wallet extension.
Click ‘speed up’ on your wallet extension.
Select the option that shows a high likelihood of a successful transaction.
Click ‘save’ and your transaction should complete shortly.
*Note that a small gas fee must be paid for the transaction. Make sure you have enough MATIC in your wallet to proceed.
*Please be aware that gas fees cannot be edited, to speed up transactions, for some wallets such as Trust Wallet.
