1st Segment: INTRODUCTION
Q1: Please introduce yourself to the community, and talk a bit about how you got started with PolkaFantasy.
Alex: I am Alex, the CEO & founder of PolkaFantasy, the first-ever Japanese-themed NFT cross-chain marketplace & multiverse game in the world.
I started this project because I love games and blockchain. And I always think that both worlds have such a huge synergy. As we look around the market, we may be surprised that there is no NFT marketplace (or games!) which totally focus on Japanese ACG (animation, comic, game) culture, in which the market worth a hundreds of billions. So our team want to focus on this Japanese ACG culture and make some changes.
We will build games, and a whole gamefi ecosystem which seamless integration with NFT marketplace.
Q2: PolkaFantasy land sales will be happening on ChainBoost next week! Can you provide us a brief overview of your land system?
Alex: Yes, my pleasure.We have 5 Tiers of land in total: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythical. Each tier has different utilities, Common has the standard usage such as clan battle, farming, build houses etc, whereas the higher tiers have better features and utilities than the lower ones. Apart from that, each tier also includes 3 ranks of land: Standard has 1 tile of land, S has 4 tiles and SS has 9 tiles. The differences between the ranks are not just the sizes but also the benefits each contain.
By holding the lands, users have the benefits of using in multiple games and even partner games! Our plan is to build multiple games in the future. Just as gamers expect AAA game studio will develop many great games in the long run. Therefore, owning a land in PolkaFantasy means that you can have lands not only for 1 game, but for the whole ecosystem with multiple games!
Q3: Let’s talk about when this utility may be available. When will users be able to start building on their land plot, and what materials will they have that their disposal to do so?
Alex： We determined to build the land system so that it can be used in many area. This system will be quite interesting because we want to incorporate the land use in many upcoming games as well.
When users have their land, they can train their units, and battle with other players as well. And we will have a building system in future so that land owners can actually rent out their lands for other users to build on it and earn passive rewards for both sides. There are many things coming up and we hope to build this together with the community.
2nd Segment: LIVE Questions
Q1: How will the land art design vary between the different tiers and locations on the map?
Alex: Great question! As you can see, we have divided the lands in different types, tiers and ranks. The lands are basically randomly located in different area. Originally we planned to concentrate the same type of lands in similar area to match the map, but it will not be fun if different lands cannot fight against each others. Therefore, in our PolkaFantasy world, you will see a lot of variety even in the same area like Volcano. We want to make the land system to be fun to play.
Q2: As mentioned pre-sale will be held from today i.e 22nd October 10:00 AM UTC to 24th October 10:00 AM UTC . So I am stuck with one question in my mind that if there is some NFTs left(unsold) after 24th so what will be done with that NFTs ? Is it burn or any new plan for that like pre-sale again or auction or something?
Alex: We are very flexible with the current system right now. If we have lands left in the sale, we will put it back into the reserve. And if we need extra demand, we will pull it out from the reserve.
We started our pre-sale today, and the response is so overwhelming! We literally sold 1M of land in the first minutes, and 2.5M of lands in 10 mins. In fact, many lands are sold out now. So we look forward so much to the land sale on ChainBoost.
Q3: Our next question comes from Shocryp who asks: What kind of future features will the LAND bring except using it in the PolkaFantasy game? You said that it would influence the whole ecosystem behind it?
Alex: Yes. We build this one land system for our whole gamefi ecosystem. That means, it can be used in our upcoming games, in our NFT ecosystem, and even act as a platform to bring in partner projects to well utilize our lands. The whole concept is to bring as much utilities to the land so it can be a good tool for passive and active rewards. This is something that may not exist in the blockchain world in large scale now, thus we are determined to make it happen.
Q4: Mythical dont be in this presale, can you tell us, some of the benefits or feature that land will have?
Alex: We don’t put our Mythical in this pre-sale because as its name suggests, it’s ‘Mythical’, it’s a secret.
But we are planning the maximum utilities of it, and with Mythical, it basically means you can build a lot of unique things on the land such as special landmark, and unlock some special items in special events. We will roll out Mythical in future. And we really want to polish the current tiers up to Legendary before we fully incorporate Mythical, the most powerful land in our current system.
